Pour un Sourire d’Enfant (PSE) est une organisation à but non lucratif fondée par Christian et Marie-France des Pallières, présente au Cambodge depuis 1995. Sa mission est d'aider les enfants à sortir de la misère et de les conduire vers des emplois décents, qualifiés et bien rémunérés.
Reconnue par les autorités locales, PSE travaille dans le respect du pays avec les Cambodgiens et s'inscrit ainsi dans une démarche de développement durable.
Six programmes principaux, adaptés aux besoins des enfants, ont été développés : alimentation, santé, protection, éducation et scolarisation, formation professionnelle et aide aux familles.
PSE aide 7 000 enfants et 7 000 diplômés du programme de formation professionnelle de PSE ont déjà réussi à intégrer le marché du travail avec un véritable poste qualifié. PSE emploie plus de 650 personnes au Cambodge (principalement à Phnom Penh) et 8 personnes au siège en France. 500 bénévoles dans différents pays travaillent activement à faire connaître l'organisation par le biais de collectes de fonds, de dons et de parrainages.
En 2000, PSE a reçu le prix des droits de l'homme de la République française.

The communications manager handles the image and reputation of PSE in Cambodia and the effective dissemination of its messages and actions. S/he works closely with the communications team based in France, particularly for content production.
There are 5 people in the team. S/he manages directly the public relations manager, the designer and the communication specialist.
Communication Strategy
- Contribute to the development of the overall PSE strategy and ensure that local communication aligns with it.
- Ensure that PSE’s image is consistent and positive by developing local strategies to enhance its visibility and ensuring transparent and authentic communication.
- Define target audiences, key messages and appropriate communication channels in Cambodia
Public relations and external communication
- Manage public relations in Cambodia by maintaining relationships with the media, organizing media events, and writing press releases to publicize the PSE’s activities.
- Support local teams for their external communication materials and organization of public events.
- Organize visits to the PSE campus by partners and private individuals to acquire new donors and strengthen relationships with existing ones.
- Develop content for external communication in France and Cambodia (interviews, reports, newsletters photos, etc….)
- Support the General Director in the management and engagement of PSE Ambassadors Community (alumni)
Internal communication
- Facilitate internal communication within PSE by effectively disseminating important information to employees and volunteers.
Fundraising
- Contribute to promoting fundraising campaigns and raising public awareness of PSE's initiatives to support its programs and projects.
- Manage local donations in cash and in-kind and update the CRM accordingly.
Crisis Management:
- Be prepared to handle media crises or emergency situations by developing local crisis communication plans and acting quickly to minimize damage to the organization's reputation in Cambodia.
- Degree in Communication, Public Relations, or any related fields
- A minimum of 5 years in a communication role with experience in management.
- Experience in media relations and event management
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.

- Native or bilingual proficiency in French, and excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of Khmer would be a plus
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Social media systems, Content management systems
- Enthusiasm for PSE mission. Strong interest in education-related topics. Willing to understand and bridge culture differences
Duration: 1 year minimum, preferably 2-3 years
Indemnity: According to PSE grid + experience
VSI contract for European Union Nationals, providing comprehensive coverage for healthcare, assistance/repatriation insurance, pension contribution, plane ticket one way and return, plus round plane ticket once a year to home country.
