French School Manager
Pour un Sourire d’Enfant (PSE) est une organisation à but non lucratif fondée par Christian et Marie-France des Pallières, présente au Cambodge depuis 1995. Sa mission est d'aider les enfants à sortir de la misère et de les conduire vers des emplois décents, qualifiés et bien rémunérés.
Reconnue par les autorités locales, PSE travaille dans le respect du pays avec les Cambodgiens et s'inscrit ainsi dans une démarche de développement durable.
Six programmes principaux, adaptés aux besoins des enfants, ont été développés : alimentation, santé, protection, éducation et scolarisation, formation professionnelle et aide aux familles.
PSE aide plus de 6 500 enfants et plus de 6 000 diplômés du programme de formation professionnelle de PSE ont déjà réussi à intégrer le marché du travail avec un véritable poste qualifié. PSE emploie plus de 650 personnes au Cambodge (principalement à Phnom Penh) et 6 personnes au siège en France. 400 bénévoles dans différents pays travaillent activement à faire connaître l'organisation par le biais de collectes de fonds, de dons et de parrainages.
En 2000, PSE a reçu le prix des droits de l'homme de la République française.

S/he will be responsible to manage all the key functions of PSE French Program according to PSE policies and procedures incuding:
- Curriculum and learning activities
- Pedagogy development
- Teacher's capacity building and student's learning outcome
- Program Operations Management - budget, reportings, staff management, team building, and leadership
Develop the curriculum/program:
- Identify the needs of curriculum development through interviews with students, teachers and principals, etc.
- Develop the curriculum development plan that meets the needs and expectations of schools and the labor market
- Develop the curriculum: learning outcomes, study programs, handbook, lesson contents, teaching and learning materials including the ICT materials, etc.
- Provide the training “how to use these curriculums” to teachers and school
- Monitor the implementation of the curriculum in schools
- Evaluate and re-adjust the curriculum if necessary
Develop the educational and pedagogical material and assessment tools:
- Identify the needs of educational and pedagogical material development through interviews with students, teachers and principals, etc.
- Develop the educational and pedagogical material development plan that meets the needs and expectations of schools and the labor market
- Develop the educational and pedagogical material
- Provide the training “how to use the educational and pedagogical material” to teachers and school
- Monitor the implementation of the educational and pedagogical material in schools
- Evaluate and re-adjust the educational and pedagogical material if necessary
- Review and update the placement test for student
- Develop the assessment tools for student
- Review and update the recruitment test for teacher
Develop the teacher capacity building:
- Identify the teacher training needs through analysis of their jobs, career paths, annual assessments, class observation, interviews, etc.
- Develop an annual training plan that meets the needs and expectations of teachers
- Provide the training according to training planning to teachers in order to develop their pedagogy and linguistic skills
- Follow-up the teachers by conducting the class observation in order to evaluate the training processes and effects
- Coach the teachers
- Design a training manual
Program Operations Management:
- Lead and coordinate for the quality of the French program activities – workforce planning, budgeting, need assessment, schedule, schooling & non-schooling activities
- Essure the student recruitment projection for French classes with GE and PSEI
- Perform cooperatively with PSE HR department in staff recruitement for French program, staff contract renewal, personel updates and other staff’s issues
- Manage the staff’s daily/annual performance as acquired and with the template of annual objective & performance appraisal
- Ensure the quality of student’s learning outcomes/progress
- Support the team to ensure the program planning, admin & logistic, teaching schedule and each final term exam are smoothly organized
- Ensure that all the student’s code of conducts and discipline are standardized between schools and fully respected by students and teachers
- Promote teambuilding, leadership and profesional ethics
- Perform other duties as assigned by the superiors
Education
- Licence or master in FLE
Experience
- Four years experience in Pedagogy Development, Teacher Training and staff managment
Skills
- Native French speaker
- Strong leadership skill
- Microsoft office, email, Internet
- Fluent in English

Duration : 1 year minimum, preferably 2-3 years
Indemnity: According to PSE grid + experience
VSI contract for European Union Nationals, providing comprehensive coverage for healthcare, assistance/repatriation insurance, pension contribution, plane ticket one way and return, plus round plane ticket once a year to home country.
